Two new hybrid paintings
Slowly, I’m adding new paintings to my series of hybrid by exploring the many possibilities that offer me the digital fusion of my original acrylic and ink paintings.
This time, I’m showing you two completely different artworks in term of colors, texture and global feel.
The Fairies’ Grotto
The first hybrid painting, with its cheerful bright colors, is titled “La grotte aux fées” (The Fairies’ Grotto). This title has imposed itself on my mind and did not want to get out despite my efforts to find a title that is more in line with my current series of paintings and do not refer to a real place. Indeed, there is a cave in Switzerland with that exact name (which I have not visited by the way).
I remember it
In contrast, the second hybrid painting, with its ribbed texture effect background similar to pastel paper and its muted colors, have an aged look and a comfort feel. I called it, “Je me souviens” (I remember it).
I still have 5 other hybrid paintings made so far. I will give a title to each of them so I can show you what they look like.
