As I said to you in the previous blog post, one of my main goals for 2017 is to find more exposure for my paintings. This also includes re-evaluate all the means already in place.
So, I decided to close my account with the print-on-demand service, ArtFlakes. The closing will take place on February 11, 2017. As for the reproductions that I offer through Fine Art America, I will drastically reduce the quantity available on that same date. If you wish to buy reproductions of my paintings at one of these printers, then you have only a few days left to do so.
Here are the details…
ArtFlakes – Account Closure
I initially opened an account at ArtFlakes so that lovers of my paintings living in Europe can buy reproductions while benefiting from more affordable shipping costs. For them, it was cheaper to order products from Germany rather than the United States where Fine Art America, the other printer-on-demand I work with, is located.
Now that Fine Art America do prints in the Netherlands and England, it is no longer necessary for me to continue to offer reproductions through ArtFlakes.
Thus I shall close my account with ArtFlakes on February 11, 2017. In the meantime, if you wish to buy reproductions, make it fast!
Fine Art America – Reduced Number of Artworks
About Fine Art America, I will not close my account, but I’m going to reduce the number of artworks offered there. From February 11, you will only find there a small selection of my digital paintings as open edition prints. It will therefore become impossible to buy reproductions of my original paintings created with ink and acrylic through Fine Art America.
The online shop
Concerning my original paintings and digital artworks in limited editions, nothing changes. You can always find them in the online shop on LouiseLamirande.com. By the way, several paintings created with oil paint and cold wax medium should be added there soon.
Thank you for your understanding and see you soon,
