I continue my love story with cold wax and oil painting on polyester film to the point that I forget digital painting. The need to physically involve me in the creation of my paintings, to feel the textures under my fingers and to work paint is very strong with me this year and it is what keeps me away from digital painting.

With all the time I spend working on the computer, sitting at the kitchen table, blogging, managing photos of my work and administering my two websites, I want to move my body rather than sit still longer to paint on the computer.

That does not mean that I will never do it again, because to be honest with you, I have a plan in mind mixing digital and oil painting which I plan to start in 2017. For now though, I fully experiment with my cold wax and oil paintings on polyester film. Some paintings from the series created during the last months will be part of my first solo art exhibition in 2017. I shall have confirmation of dates and specific location soon.
