Watercolor, Ink, Acrylic and Cold Wax on Tissue PaperFrom The Creative & Experimental Art Journal
Pages from my creative and experimental art journal.
- Watercolor paper
- Tissue paper
- Acrylic medium (De Serres). Used as a glue.
- Watercolor (Holbein)
- Alcohol ink (Adirondack)
- Cold wax (Gamblin) mixed with gold pigment Pearl Ex (Jacquard) for the left page only
- Acrylic gel medium mat (Liquitex) for the right page only
- Acrylic glossy medium (De Serres) for the right page only
Tissue paper is glued on watercolor paper with acrylic mat medium, then painted with watercolor and ink. For this page, I use cold wax to protect the painting and add more texture.
This page was created on the same tissue paper base painted with watercolor and ink. The difference here is that I put on many thick layers of acrylic gel medium and not cold wax.

This gallery shows intuitive abstract paintings created digitally. For those I swap my paint, brushes and canvas for there digital counterpart : a stylus, a digital drawing tablet and a computer.
